because of the difference in the shape of the sacrum.
The average female sacrum is slightly wider and shorter, because of the birth canal,
than the more narrow, longer male sacrum.
Occasionally some taller women with a longer, more narrow torso, (i.e. if men’s jeans fit better)
may do better on the male version.
