I had neck surgery over 2 years ago and need to have the plate removed and the 5, 6, 7 redone. I want to start over fresh and go to a different doctor and town.

I can’t think of a neck-specialized neurosurgeon or orthopaedic surgeon off the top of my head. But I’d check these out in Louisville:
– Leatherman Spine Center (affiliated with the Kleinert-Kutz hand center, where the US’s first hand transplant was performed). Many doctor do fellowships through Leatherman.
– Louisville Bone and Joint Clinic (I know a few of the doctors here who do rotator cuff and knee work, and they are fabulous!)
– Louisville Orthopaedic Clinic (pricier than Louisville Bone and Joint, and often a longer waiting list . . . they’re not necessarily better, though)
If you’d consider going futher, try the Cleveland Clinic. My brother recently had a procedure done there for a rare condition he has (1 in 20 million get it) and the results have been phenomenal.
Good luck!
